Questions

How much does a gaming day cost for a holiday programme?

Game Day starts at $28 per child + GST for Free Play, $33 for Tournament and $40 for a Coached Tournament. The minimum spend is $800 + GST (about 24 kids), and it suits up to about 60 kids.

What ages is it for?

It works best for primary and intermediate-aged kids, roughly 5 to 13. All the games are age-appropriate, and our crew can tailor the line-up to your group.

How much play does each child get?

About 90 minutes of play each, based on 40 kids across a full day. A 12-player Mario Kart race takes about 20 minutes, so there are three rounds an hour.

What do we need to provide?

A room or hall with space for six screens on stands, and standard power points. For Free Play, internet is only needed for online games. The 12-player Mario Kart race works without it, and the Tournament tiers include our own 5G router.

Is it just kids sitting at screens?

It's a social, cheering, team-based day rather than solo screen time. For something more active, add our BlazePod reaction wall, a light-up challenge that gets kids moving, with scores on the leaderboard.

Can you add VR for older kids?

Yes. Our VR Zone adds four Meta Quest 3 headsets for kids aged 10 and over (Meta's minimum age), cast to a big screen so the group can watch. It needs a supervised corner of about 4m x 4m. Your team can run it after our walkthrough, or our crew can run it for you. Younger kids can join in with our Acron Pack, where only one player wears a headset and the rest play on tablets.

What about the kids' details on the leaderboard?

Kids sign in with their first name and surname initial only (for example, Ava M.). Any data stays with your programme and is deleted from our systems after the day.

Do you travel outside Auckland?

Game Day is Auckland-wide, with travel included within 50km of the CBD. For further out, travel is added at $1.30/km. For events elsewhere in New Zealand, see our event packages.
